Eye color can be affected by the color of clothing. When I'm wearing blue, it looks they get even bluer. But, for me, the main difference is that they change a bit when exposed to different sources of light, be it the sun, ambient light or camera flash.
Here's another one taken at home with regular light without flash tonight.
So, most of the time, my eyes look like this and like on the picture on the first page "under normal circumstances" and no make up.
