Because it looks and sounds way more westernized than Indian music, IMO.

Korean music is popular in china and japan.

China doesn't have internet access on youtube and Japanese music is still the most popular in their own country but even the Japanese music video aren't nowhere as much Koreans having 200 - 300 million views.

Also how can Korean boyband wins the most favorite boyband in the world and the no.1 billboard awards ? Also how come there was never a Latino music video with a billion views now all of sudden in 1-2 years there many of them ?

I really can't think of any other reasons rather than secret music deals. In exchange for fame and popularity of those artist to expand in the English speaking world their own government made that deal by paying hundred millions or more to youtube, they did the same to American media.

Kpop is just very modern and trendy and has catchy beats as well as dance moves so it appeals to the youth.
