Flattering yes, but the topic of the thread isn't about one's fascination to other cultures. It's about when a particular person practicing certain pagan beliefs that are different from his/her own. I mean, I myself am very fascinated with Germanic, Celtic and Roman cultures and histories, but at the same time, it would be very weird for me to worship gods like Oden or Neptune and etc.

Yeah, you are right. I forgot. It's not an Arab studying Old Norse and analysing the Eddas. It's such guy joining a revitalisation movement that has nothing to do with his culture. I now see where you're coming from. Perhaps if he lived in Northern Europe and fell in love with the land or so it could make a little sense, otherwise it's weird indeed.

Like McCree900 wrote on the 22th post, it would be somewhat odd if they PRACTICE/WORSHIP the religion/gods specific to another people. It would be normal if they STUDY it out of genuine interest. For instance, I'm neither Greek nor Roman but I did study Greek-Roman mythology to figure out what archetype that given deity is supposed to represent, what is the philosophical lesson behind that myth and that myth... Doesn't mean I have an altar dedicated to Zeus or Mars on my backyard, lol...
Jews are vocally anti-Christian and anti-Jesus. They're the ones who killed Jesus after all...
I think religion is a complex topic that I'm too lazy to get into right now. A Samoan praying to pagan Gods just doesn't work, there's no cultural, historical, or ancestral connection between the two. If Dwayne Johnson said in an interview that he descends directly from Zeus, Zeus would laugh at him.
