I have been watching in tv these days the news about the Cristiano Ronaldo sign for Juventus. A lot of reports about how people of Turin is welcoming him etc etc, in the Juventus store, in the streets, etc etc... and oh man, everything less Central European looking people (I mean mostly, of course).

Yeah right.. Living few kms far from Switzerland is being south Europe. Lol.

You make false assumption. And you are 0 expert.

Turin feels a lot like Lyon, Basel, genevre, zurich

North Italy is South-Central in the sense that it is located in the central part of Southern Europe (and not in the western part of Southern Europe). South Italy can actually count as South-Eastern.

Why can it not be that North Italy is in between both Central and South Europe?

North Italy is the transitional region between Central and Southern Europe to me. I love them Polentoni, though. Historically they contributed a lot to our Northern Renaissance by our intellectuals studying there.

So it is a transitional region between Southern Europe and... another transitional region?

Because Central Europe itself is a transitional region between West/East/North/South, no?

Because Central Europe is also a transitional region between West/East/North/South, huh.
They are the Southern Central European bros of the Poles.

This woman was a Polka, for instance.

Why complicate things so much if you can just go along natural borders such as the Alps and the Baltic-Adriatic pass:

    https://www.theapricity.com/forum/sh...mp-East-Europe

    South-Eastern Europe:

Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, former Yugoslavia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, South Italy.

    South-Western Europe:

North and Central Italy, Switzerland, South France, Spain, Portugal, Sardinia, Corsica, Baleares.

    =====

With the rest being North-Western Europe, North-Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, European Russia.

Due to stronger links with the Balkans than with Iberia.
