Is North Italy part of Central Europe?

South-Eastern Europe:

Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, former Yugoslavia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, South Italy.

South-Western Europe:

North and Central Italy, Switzerland, South France, Spain, Portugal, Sardinia, Corsica, Baleares.

With the rest being North-Western Europe, North-Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, European Russia.

I have been watching in tv these days the news about the Cristiano Ronaldo sign for Juventus. A lot of reports about how people of Turin is welcoming him etc etc, in the Juventus store, in the streets, etc etc... and oh man, everything less Central European looking people (I mean mostly, of course).

Turin is basically Calabria now. Ethnic Piedmontese people are similar to Southern French and Northern Spaniards, i think.

Anything south of the Alps is not in Central Europe. Italy borders Central Europe but it is not a part of it.
