    Added several dozen German-Americans.

Argentano made a PCA with new samples (of course now we need to add more British samples because Poles and Germans are overrepresented). I think that the averages are off, it will be better to use averages from original GEDmatch K15 spreadsheet (which does not have such thing as "German" for example, it only has "West German", "North German" and "East German"):

Did you use PC1 and PC2?

    1) Is Argentina is the most southern shifted? Is it because of south italians?
    2) I thought only southern US was english and the other parts were diverse, but it seems they are all very english.
    3) Why Puerto Rico is nothern shifted if they did not had german settlers like Brazil?
    4) I thought Mexico and DR would more canarian shifted, but they are not, at least not at all.

1)Argentina is by far the most southern shifted not only because of south italians but also because of northern and central italians. Most italians score consistently more east med than iberians.
2)I have added more americans and some german americans score different.
3)PR is not really northern shifted, it gives you that impression beucase there are A LOT of samples so you are seeing the 10 scoring northern and not the 500 scoring just iberian.
4)Mexico and DR actually score a liitle more east med than the other samples. It actually surprised me.

I think it would be normal to see caribeans and mexicans scoring more east med since received the largest proportions of canarians and new christians by far. But I could not notice that in the pictures of the first page, they dont plot so different of other latinos, just a little bit below the average. I thought it would be much more like plotting with south italians, but no, they still plot with norh italians. How is it possible?

canarians plot near to iberians, just with a litte more SSA and NEA. But the euro ancestry is similar

Now i realize as i am just using euro ancestry, i am minimizing the difference between mainland iberians and canarians (NEA and SSA)

Totally makes sense, canarians are an already mixed population and bring non-european blood with them that is not being considered in those graphics. Its why mexicans and caribean results appear so mainland iberian. Of course not all non-european blood in mexicans/caribeans comes from africa/america, part of this non euro blood comes from Canarias.
