In video game only yours character can die, but in real life nationalism led to brutal wars that no race/ethnicity benefited, but only individuals at top of system pyramid

Only as dangerous as the people playing them. Anything, after all, is dangerous in the 'wrong' hands. Nationalism, racism, guns, religion, etc. It's not the fault of the video games that some people may have underlying issues. Or may not even 'grasp' the difference between reality and fantasy.

If they get in the hand of impressionable people that are not all there in the head, yes.

I am so sick of this debate. I grew up playing Brutal Doom, Wolfenstien, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto.. all of these violent games, but I am a peaceful person.

Any average person in their right mind would not go out and start shooting people. These people who do so have some other issue, and if anything these violent games are simply an outlet.

Video games are so destructive. I played Civilization, and I saw a spearman defeat a tank,

So I got a spear and slaughtered everyone within a 100 mile radius of my hometown, men women and children alike. I laughed as they screamed and then drank their blood. It was invigorating.

Don't let your children play video games unless you want them to do the same thing.

As a young teen I grew up playing the Hitman and Splinter Cell series.

I havent killed someone for a hit contract yet neither have I put on a latex suit to sneak into some government building and steal classified information.Thats the answer.
