Problem is that Chinese dishes do not look very appetizing to me. Βut then again I have never tried any of those dishes, so I don’t really know what they taste like or what they are made of.

I recently saw this video about this hole in the wall Peking duck restaurant that became famous. I should try it next time I'm in Beijing.

I liked Americanized Chinesefood rather than what I ate in Hong Kong.

You were probably not used to it. I think I remember you said you went to Beijing, Northern Chinese food is very different from Cantonese food, which is what most American style Chinese food is based off of.

I found Mandarin style food bland compared to the cantonese style (which appeased to my south asian/Nepalese ),,, And even like, as i mentioned already, the food I ate in hong kong was not as "sauce heavy" as the san fransico style chinese food that i am use to eating here in Toronto
