Assyrians I do see more overlap . Alawites too . but more with south caucasus
?? Iranian to me is someone from Iran. There are many Iranians here in Sweden and yes they are diverse, but those that don't look south/central Asian influenced are not very different from atleast us Assyrians.

I also know many iranians (and I like iranians a lot tbh) . they have often their own look to me . dont know how to explain . of course quite a few will also pass but many at the same time dont . and it is not necessary/always because of "too exotic" or something but they have many types that are only typical for themselves

btw. post some assyrians here if you want :

As far as I understand this type of "science" is dead. It was functional during 18-19th centuries during the era of scientific racism. There are far more European classifications, am I right?

I really dont know . I would have thought there are more asian types

I dont think classifications is racism . and it is not racism to have "favorite" types or types which you find more beautiful or whatever ....but it can easily trigger racism . and it does ....

what I do find problematic is when people start trying to make certain types of people as undesirable humans simply because of phenotype or country of origin which they have no control over and which is not even important

threads like "what admixture would you rather have 1% ssa or 1% australian aborigine" ....wtf is this ? who the fuck are you to talk like this about people as if they are some kind of disease aka "would you rather have your hand cut off your your nose cut off" . meh whatever...

Why did you post Aralid in the OP? Since when is Aralid a common phenotype in Turkey? Armenoid and Anatolid would be way more common. Even Arabid would probably be more common than Aralid in Turkey.

The phenotypes that you talked about are not typical Turkish phenotypes. Armenoid is mostly common in Kurds and Arabid is mostly common in Anatolian Arabs . Also I only posted the phenotypes that common in only ethnic Turks. Aralid is common among 1/8 of ethnic Turkish population ( mostly Aralid + something, rarely full Aralid)
