Practically everyone younger than 50 speak enough English to understand English speakers or other foreigners. The exception are some of the refugees who know very little English (And Swedish as well, sometimes). Of course, not all young people in Sweden could have a complex conversation in English or speak the language perfectly, but it's enough to help tourists and chat for a while with them. Older folks have a harder time understanding English, with some exceptions, though. In rural areas, the young people can speak English as well. But when it comes to old timers, the rural ones speak worse English than the ones who were born and/or raised in larger towns.

I hope Sweden would be more like Finland (in this particular matter) ... for Sweden's own sake.

Me? Nah, I don't like/support violence at any form.
I just don't want them to Scandinavia. Still if they come here, they'll take/carry the risks.
White people faces even worse as travelling non-white countries....
