Post some of the rules you live by

Here are some of my rules I live by, or "the code".

- never make assumptions but if you do, do not forget that assumptions are what they are. Do not turn them into truths and do not act as if the assumption you've made is how it is.

- do not care what others say or think about you unless its important as a part of work or personal relations but even then, in most cases you shouldn't care.

- do not ever feel insulted or feel regret. Its a waste of thoughts.

- your ancestry, background, the place where you are born is irrelevant, you own absolutely nothing to your country or your nation.

- do not feel pride for what you haven't done yourself.

- don't trust anyone, the human nature is fluid and unpredictable. You will be betrayed and abandoned a lot.

- realize that most people are the cause of their own misery but blame others for being losers. Avoid such people. Avoid negative people in general.

- do not idealize anyone or anything. Very occasionally you may encounter individuals who can improve you and teach you. Cherish them for what they are as such people are rare

- keep improving yourself all the time. Keep expanding your mind.

- while your past is relevant, your future is much more so. Do not grieve the past.

Be sure to be passionate enough about things to have "favorite" things. If you don't, you are not living life passionately enough.

Stay away from fast food at all costs; colas and sodas too.

Your home is your castle. Take care of it.

Don't argue (especially with a partner) over text, email, or social media.

Make sure the way you dress (and look) is appropriate for your age, and for your particular situation.

It's better to work hard for something and fail than to miss out in that opportunity for the fear of failure.

The way someone takes care of their possessions and the types of possessions they have says a lot about how that person feels about him/herself.

While your ancestry and a ethnicity are a part of who you are, they do not define who you are as a person.

I tend to look at things as Yes and No perspectives and not a fan of nuance.

I try to work out and take good care of my body.
