    Shangdi

Shangdi (Chinese: 上帝; pinyin: Shàngdì; Wade–Giles: Shang Ti), also written simply , "Emperor"), is the Chinese term for "Supreme Deity" or "Highest Deity" in the theology of the classical texts, especially deriving from Shang theology and finding an equivalent in the later Tian ("Heaven" or "Great Whole") of Zhou theology.[1]

Although in Chinese religion the usage of "Tian" to refer to the absolute God of the universe is predominant, "Shangdi" continues to be used in a variety of traditions, including certain philosophical schools,[2] certain strains of Confucianism,[3] some Chinese salvationist religions (notably Yiguandao) and Chinese Protestant Christianity. In addition, it is common to use such term among contemporary and secular Chinese, Hong Kong, and Taiwanese societies typically for a singular universal deity and a non-religion translation for the God in Christianity.[4]

China has been doing just good without any Abrahamic religion. I hope Chinese government stops missionaries from spreading shit.

I wonder how many are like the Japanese? People who may like the novelty of some Christian concepts, e.g. dressing in wedding gowns & having a "priest" [friends or tourists are 'just as good' as an actual priest], etc., and may say they are "Christian" because they don't view religion as Abrahamic countries do. But for whom, when all said and done, Christianity is in a way sort of irrelevant.

I did & it is interesting. But some may just practice their own beliefs behind closed doors.

What gives you that idea? I very much doubt it. But you aren't a Christian yourself, so you cannot think yourself into such a scenario...

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
The quote is true and you are rewarded - community being the big one. Having people around you being another. healthy in body, mind and spirit being another. being in sound healthy community will lead to honest family oriented matters. Then other matters follow - socially, intellectually, monetary. Whether you like it or not.

So the quote is true and it does reward you
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12

Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

Spending some time in Japan & the disregard for Christianity. They're not the same, Chinese & Japanese, but I don't see everyone taking to it wholeheartedly.
