To sum all this up, it is actually very simple;

Ancient Macedonians were GREEKS/HELLENS without any doubt, they were Dorans who lived in "far" North for other Greeks.

Other Greeks never payed much of attention to them until rise of Phillip II.

Those same Macedonians (Hellens) united all Greece under one "flag", and JESUS CHRIST ALL MIGHTY are we all forgetting that ENTIRE HISTORY PERIOD of Alexander (and after) is called; HELLENIC PERIOD because of Alexander.

Then Slavs came in 7th century, some of them settled in region of Macedonia, most of them mixed with pre-slavic ppl, we can see today how FYROM ppl are very similar to Greek ppl considering both Y-DNA and Autosomal DNA.

But that doesnt make them Greeks, it makes them some sort of hybrid between Greeks and Slavs and Bulgarians who adopted the name Macedonia, which historically and in every other way is HELLENIC.

I think this dispute between FYROM and Greece can be solved if FYROM ppl stop provoking (like with airport named after Alexander and similar stuff), I think Greeks would accept them to have name such as Northern Macedonia or Vardar Macedonia (THIS WAS OFFERED TO THEM BY GREECE, Fyrom refused it for reasons fucking unknown to me), I bet most of Greeks would respect the fact that even though Fyrom ppl speaks slavic lang, they would respect they feel some connection to Macedonia BUT THEY DONT HAVE THE RIGHT ON IT'S LEGACY, historical legacy, but they have right to feel SOMETHIN for Christ's sake...

I think we can all AGREE here about that? Yes? Yep.

This could be solved, so that both of those sides are happy, the only thing which is needed is; CALM HEADS, not hot ones.
