How do you guys feel about Mormons?

Mormons are trying convert me. I've read some of the book of mormon and its interesting to say the least.

Whats the general consensus here on them?

lol but mormons believe some wacky things, like Jesus visited the "ancient Americas" and all native americans were white until they were punished (can't remember why). They also have some weird ideas about heaven and what not. My brother and my messianic jew friend are telling me to stay away. But how nice the mormons are is quite infectious

I am not religious and I don't believe I ought to be giving you advise on this, but first of all, do a lot research on them and their church, see what they're all about and if it's to your liking then convert. If it isn't, then let them know from the start that their religion isn't for you.

I've been doing some research. There are a few things that strike me as very odd. But there are things I like about them too.

I recently had multiple visits from a pair of Mormon missionaries.

During the first visit I told them I have no interest in converting.

They were pleasant and I enjoyed their company.

I dislike anything that Is religion, though I'm agnostic.

Prayers don't help anything they don't solved catastrophes or help cure diseases, there no scientific evidence of a "god" out there, at this point with current technology should have enough evidence don't you think?

But from a scientific stand point, I do believe there's a superior being out there who created the universe and everything like the big bang Impossible for the big bang to born out of "nothing".
