Hmm not really We regard the New Testament as the culmination of God's message, certainly... Jesus came to fulfill the law and the prophets. The Old Testament is useful to look at as examples of God's work and also how it all points to Jesus. But you are right, the New Testament contains the core of God's message. It all complements each other, though. For example, Moses leading the ancient Israelites to the Promised Land is a forefunner of Jesus leading God's people to their promised land -- Heaven, out of the claws of pharaoh the oppressor, who signifies Satan. And Jonah being in the belly of the fish for three days, even dying, then the fish spewing him out refers to Jesus' death for three days, and resurrection. And there are many more such examples.
