The commander promised Marko Krizin a church estate if he renounced the Catholic Church and converted to Calvinism. Krizin refused. All three were then tortured and soon beheaded.[/I][/QUOTE]
Calvinism -is the worst thing that can happen in the history of Christianity.

How is this even a question? Are Germans Germanic? Is whisky an alcoholic beverage?

Well, it is true that the Catholic Church deviated from the original Christian Church, but the word "Christianism" does not evaluate how close a church is to their original sect, it just means "someone who accept Jesus Christ as their saviour", and Catholics accept Jesus as their saviour.
Regarding how much different the modern Catholic Church is from the original Christian followers, one could argue that all modern Christian sects (Catholic, Protestant, Orthodox and Oriental) have had their own share of deviations from the primitive days of the Church. Primitive Christians were all Jews either by birth or conversion who composed an apocalyptic, Second Temple Jewish sect, which historians refer to as Jewish Christianity.

Protestantism maintained a lot of the same traditions as Catholicism. If Protestantism wanted to restore the primitive Church, why didn't they do away with these innovations (Christmas and Easter, etc.) as well?
If you go to a Catholic mass expecting to see some kind of revival of the Eleusinian Mysteries, you will be sorely disappointed. The sermon will be full of a bunch of boring moralism.

Christianity doesn't have anything to do with the Second Temple, or Second Temple Judaism... in fact quite the opposite, since Christians (rightly) believe that the temple era ended with the crucifixion of Jesus... him being a sacrifice for sins, so that no temple is necessary anymore. Now, believers in Jesus are the living temples of God.
