I was brought up a Catholic but I hope I'm objective because I'm not a religious person. The Catholic religion is a lot closer in time to Jesus than the Protestant religion. I do agree that the Catholic religion incorporated pagan beliefs because they are an older religion than Protestantism and due to history were closer to the time when pagans converted to Christianity. It is just a natural progression. I don't see why Protestants have such antagonism towards Catholics because they evolved out of Catholicism. Anyway I think it is all BS but everyone has their own path to follow.
I wish the Celtic Church could have evolved their own unique religion but that was not to be because of the interference of England and Rome. Religion is just another way to divide people. People shouldn't get fanatical over religion.

Anyway if a follower some artifical Church thinks im no Christian I dont even feel offended I know better, my Church history can be traced back to Jesus Christus himself.
But I try to not even fight Lutherans or Portestants anymore, we have a Islamic and Atheist invasion going on, time for once sticking together.

Jesus said he did not come to bring peace, but the sword (division).
The reason I have a problem with Catholicism, is because it prevents people from hearing the true gospel, and prevents people from receiving salvation. Hence, it is quite important for me to want to help others onto the right path. It would be selfish of me not to.
