As a whole, do Cypriots and Maltese pass better in Finland or Iran?

Despite them being Europeans, very few Cypriots and Maltese would pass in Finland and nearby countries, and imo a good number instead (though by no means a majority either) would pass better as lighter-than-average Iranians.

That's a vicious question. Of course they look closer to Iranians than to Finns.
I think even some other European groups like Albanians or Greeks would look closer to Iranians than to Finns on average.

This isn't a troll thread, but a serious question. There is an orthodoxy that "all Europeans/Middle Easterners/East Asians look more alike than any do to non-Europeans/non-Middle Easterners/non-East Asians" which is very dubious.

Not really. I've recently met a huge group of Cypriots and they were pretty distinct from Asians/Iranians.
