The VIN number is the key to the history of the vehicle. With services like https://epicvin.com/vin-decoder/bmw, you can get a car history by vin report, which usually includes vehicle activity records, mileage, damage records, equipment specifications and listing, random and promotional images, and much more. It is very helpful to check the used car that you are about to buy.

Just got a brand new car, straight from saloon.

Toyota Yaris Cross Hybrid with automatic transmission. It spends crazy little fuel and has all the latest tech.

Small beast that's urban car but basically a tiny SUV. Great visibility, sporty design and 10 year guarantee.

Good choice. My father has had a Toyota since 1993, engine has more power than whatever brand new car I've been in . It's almost ridiculous.

Here you can't simply sell a car bypassing such kind of report.

    Peugeot 208 GTline.

It has much more ''electronics'' vs my old Mini Cooper.

For example reversing camera, warning that you cross the driving line, warning that you drive too close to another car, different driving modes etc.. Panoramic roof, 8 gear automatic gearbox plus steering gears option. 3D instrumental cluster, very small steering wheel and it is YELLOW !

=> I like it a lot. Good enough for me.

Unfortunately it does not have Webasto etc. So before winter I'll need to do something here. The normal radiator type of motor pre-heaters are pretty useless. Cheap and easy to install, but nothing more, I have heard. A hose heater with pump could be a good solution? Much more effective.

It's an incredibly satisfying feeling to ride something after 2.5 years of being regular Moscow transportation customer (which is really good), since late 2020 I had 3 or 4 rides on sister's and mate's car. Considering I'm out of Moscow since 9 July it's even more important as I'm sick of taking buses between the place I live now and other locations, that's the worst rides ever. If there were trains between everything I'd pick them.

Now finally at home until Monday to "wash the purchase" with drinking some spirits and beers

I dont have a car as I live in the center of the capital and it's pointless.

If I need to get somewhere fast I get an uber/bolt.

Moscow has perfect clockwork transportation but still, if I wanted to go to some lake out of Moscow for a grill and swimming no way I would use transportation. Imagine going there with meat, grill and stuff. It was always someone's car.

Inside Moscow Uber and Yandex are extremely cheap, fast to approach and comfy, too. I think if I didn't move out of Moscow I won't get any car. There is car sharing too, when you have cars dropped ready for ride almost every 50 meters, but I avoid it.
