Kurdish languages in Iran and Luri form a dialect continuum. There's debate on whether Laki is a dialect of Lurish or the local Kurdish language. You might find Lurish to sound similar.

By the way, Lurs are ethnic Persians, but they are nomadic like Kurds so their dialect is a bit distinct from Standard Persian.

Mix of Farsi and Hindi (but better in my ears and more pleasant), with hints of (unrelated languages) Assyrian Neo-Aramaic, Hebrew and Turkish.

Sounds similar to Persian or Kurdish. Lucky for you guys to have such a pleasant sounding language.

My barber is a kurdish speaker and when he talks kurdish I can see the many similarities it has with pashto and persian. He even noted the strong harsh tones as well the vocab it shares with pashto, and he wasn't the first kurd to notice that. Although not a pashto speaker, I can safely say that dari(Afghan Persian) is far more pleasant, popular and elegant than pashto in Afghanistan.
