As a region, I’ve actually never visited the Pacific Northwest. I would not at all mind visiting.

Me too, never been to the Pacific Northwest --nor the Dakotas/Idaho/Wyoming, although I'm not sure if that counts as a region...

Yeah many, for example Berlin. I wanna visit the city but not because its amazing, just because its the capital. Its a well known overrated city. Hamburg is also on my list, although I was in that state. Southern Germany has a lot of nice places for hiking, I like the nature and hiking but I am not sure whether I should go to this places with or without someone else.

Dakotas are part of the Midwest (Great Plaines sub-region)...while Idaho and Wyoming I think of as part of the Mountain West. By the way, it’s a shame people view the Dakotas as forgettable or as not a place worthy of visitation- I’ve been to North and South Dakota and they’re absolutely stunning. The badlands of ND and the Black Hills of SD are phenomenal.

I don't plan to visit anything, I've visited regions and other countries exclusively for work and other stuff but not vacation, with one exception, so I am not very much into being a tourist, I like to stay home/in the area I live in.

I actually dislike to travel, it's so tiresome, everything (the trip itself, not being able to eat what you are used to, need to eat out, need to socialize, flight, money spent etc)
I agree, I won't say "I hate travelling" but I think it's overrated, I think some people do it only to impress others (it's seen as a high status activity). It can drain a lot of money too especially if you want to visit a "cool" place.

I haven’t visited the Northeast part of the country (except upstate NY) and up by the pacific coast. I’ve never been to Alaska or Hawaii either. I would go visit all of those states in those regions, and hopefully I will have a chance to do so.
There’s only a few states in the Midwest that I have no interest in visiting just because they seem boring and have ugly scenery.

I agree, but it's "out of the way" and there's typically no reason to go there other than to just go there, purposefully, and most people don't have that kind of time or money.

The unfortunate thing about the low lying parts of the Midwest is there is something nice and quaint about it...but the scenery I admit does get old before long. Especially if you’re on a long car-ride. The Midwest in certain spots does have some upland which surprises many people. Ever look up the driftless area?

    I haven’t but I will now!
I forgot where you are located.. (and you don’t have to mention) but I want my next trip to be around the Boston area. Something about their architecture is very alluring to me. Have you been? And would you suggest it?

I’m in Illinois- so I’m a flyover lad!

As for Bah-ston, I have never been.
