Ok i found this and i partly agree with Meyers, based in their phenotypes Somalians look more caucasian than negroid.
My theory is that Somalians are dark skinned Caucasians and they have roots from Europe

depends on the north african

somalis are mixed . 50-60% subsaharan 40-50% caucasoid . around that . thats how they come out in gedmatch . however I dont know how the "east african" and "west african" components differ from each other and if the east african has caucasoid etc .

but somalis look strong ssa influenced in their pheno either way imo

Im almost positive that the author of this map is considering white by the standard definition of caucasian being of europe, middle east, and north africa, and he is including east africa because most east africans are mixed African/Proto-Arab.
