Its not something I would want to do or the type of person I would want to become.
But I believe the potential for violence is within most of us as its within human genes , we only have to look at the amount of wars and bloodshed in history to realise this.
I answered "only in extreme circumstances" , I dont generally want to foster such notions within myself , after all we live in mostly civilised society , i would rather agree with that concept.

Personally I think that f.e. if I have a pistol available, and he is hurting my kids, and the only way to stop him is fire that pistol, I'll do it in a heartbeat .
