It is an amazing list filled with all kinds of styles. Many great songwriters are there too.
What talent did they have? Mostly they were media hype. They had a Jewish promoter who paid girls to scream as they got off the plane. They could barely play their own instruments and couldn't really hold a tune. Live they were not very good. What talent did they have? Other than being at the right place at the right time and catching on the latest trends to remain relevant.

Fifty years later people are still recording their songs. People from country/western genre to jazz singers. Punk to classical artists. This includes some of the greatest songwriters of the past two generations. If they were just 'media hype' as you claim, their candle would have burned out long ago. Perhaps your the one whose perception of what is good and bad in music is what should be questioned.

This is their only good song. The rest of their songs are absolute garbage.

What do you think of this Beatles medley by Cher and Tina Turner?
