Pakistanis can pass for south Indians ?

Pakistanis don't look like most Indians (save for Punjabis/Kashmiris), let alone the ones from the south. I've noticed they tend to have smaller eyes, and many of them are actually quite robust. To me they look like a Persianized-South Asian phenotype. I think most people severely underestimate the effects of partition and the MENA influence coming in from the West.

There is some overlap with states like Punjab/Rajasthan. Tamils from South India though? Those guys would stick out like sore thumbs in cities like Islamabad or Karachi.
