Default Would you be for complete legalization of Marijuana?

I am because the illegal status just fills the pockets of Mexican cartels and the end result is more crime, more deaths over drug money, etc. If marijuana was made legal then cartels' power will largely disappear since drug money would stop flowing. The slaughter of innocent Mexicans and Americans over drugs would also end. The legalization of marijuana must happen immediately.

I would rather have it de-criminalized, there is a difference.

Yes, I would. If alcohol is going to be legal, marijuana also ought to be. Alcohol is by far a more hard drug than marijuana and also more harmful. We are spending billions of dollars per year enforcing these antiquated laws, paying for prosecution, corrections, incarceration, law enforcement, when we could be MAKING billions by simply legalizing it, regulating it, and taxing it. Far more jobs would be created than lost. It would also us have fewer fcking Mexicans invading the nation and the drug gang violence on the border would be reduced.

I voted 'no', because I think that it should be decriminalised, not legalised.

Do not want to pay tax on a fukking garden plant...

If legalized you could grow your own and not pay tax, tax would just be on commercial marijuana.

The issue with decriminalisation is people like me can grow the plants and sell cannabis to people for X pounds, making me lots of £££'s. I could then use the monies for other mischief-making activities, such as revolution, and clearly the government doesn't want that to happen.

I used to be a chronic pot head during my teenage years and now I am staunchly against it. I can tell you without a doubt that with marijuana more readily available, general productivity would go way down...

Sure it may cause less harm than alcohol, but if you legalize weed, than what next- cocaine?
