    There's no doubt that it's a superb selection for a Classical Music Piece, but this Thread is about the Pre-Classical Periods. The Moonlight Sonata isn't from the Medieval and Early Music Timeframe (that pre-dates the 15th Century); neither is it from the Renaissance Period (1400-1600); and, neither is it from the Baroque Period (1600-1750); the Moonlight Sonata actually falls squarely into the Classical Period (1750-1830).



    Actually, Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata includes 3 Movements, but the popular version uses only the 1st Movement. This is the Moonlight Sonata in its entirety, with all 3 Movements.
