I like Nihongo, I just don't like the average muricans that are into it, to exemplify: I remember some years ago I was in a group of Japanese friends from Judo and there was this Murican girl that was going out with one of them, we were in a table and she asked to someone to pass a glass to her, when she got the glass she said "sanryu!" and I couldn't keep my self and asked "and what is that?" she said, in a pompous way, like she was teaching me something "it's "thank you" in Japanese language" which I replied instantly "no, that is "arigato"", and she kept her position "No, I saw that in a tv show, their word for thank you is "sanryu"" and I kept quiet, while the Japanese held a smile on their faces (almost saying "what an idiot") and her "boyfriend" had an embarrassed expression.
But the language is beautiful and the characters are beautiful as well in my opinion.
"Moderation in all things healthful; total abstinence from all things harmful."

I like, it is very easy on the ear. When it is spoken by females it sounds like a child's speech on the other hand but I've heard that it's partially caused by their culture that encourages women to come across as cute.
