0.5% refers to the Yakut ancestry that i have coming from my granfather. My mom is 99.5% european and she has she same % of yakut ancestry as me. What surprises me the most is the 7% caucasus

Well, 23andme covers only the last 500 years or so. GEDmatch digs way deeper, however it has a serious margin of error. Is there anything Asiatic noticeable in your looks?

Nothing, even my Grandad (Bashkir) had pretty european looks,blue eyes and physical features of a slav. Also the mediterranean ancestry surprises me a lot. That's why i didn't like gedmatch at first, cause they were giving me really different results with each new project

That's unusual. Bashkirs are like 35-45% mongoloid, much more than Volga Tatars who are around 20% on average.

Can you try uploading the raw data to regular GEDmatch? I don't trust Genesis after I saw another member's results both from Genesis and regular GM.

It doesn't allow to do so as i have made the ancestry tests with 23andme. But as i said, my mom also did the test and she was 99.5% european (at least with 23andme), and only having 0.3% east asian, so regardless my grandad was pretty european for being a bashkir. And also my grandma was 100% Eastern european

I uploaded to regular gedmatch, still getting the same results. Is dedocad the best project to use? I'm always using eurogenes more than the rest
