There 80 million Turks in Turkey ; how many would you say are " Dark skinned " ?

No, that's just my closest experience with Turkish people. They do seem darker than the average to me, just like the actors of your TV series are lighter (the other end of the spectrum). My opinion of course isn't based only on the folks I saw there, but also on the Turkish tourists I encountered in Belgrade and all the photos and videos on the Internet and other media that show Turkish people. I may not have seen all the 80 million of your countrymen, but I've seen enough to form an opinion.

Actually my interest in skin colour is more genuine than yours but my reasons are medicinal while yours are social .
