Are Turkish people obsessed with their skin color?

when people hear the word töre they will think about kurds before turks Marmara is right . but only some kurds did/do have that . most of us dont . and there are also turks with similar who applied/apply töres as those kurds but it is actually known that it is more of a kurdish thing

On the other hand if you are unaware that you are talking to a " white " Turk ; you maybe genuinely thought as ignorant by the Turk in question .

May I ask if there are a "white" Turks as you say, which ethnicity is considered "white" Turks and which ethnicity is considered "less white" Turks?

It is considered plain silliness/idiocy to mention skin colour as something to feel pride in .



Most Turks have no idea how much of Western talk is about who is original/better White .

Go to any Turkish forum and find me just 1 post about skin colour .

Truth is that Turks have all types of people ; this is an alien concept for small and xenophobic nations but not for Turks.

Depends on what do you mean by "less white". İf it means darker skin then indeed for instance Gypsies are less white, but we don't think about skin color and there is no racial categorization here.
