I always liked flemish and dutch culture, as a veneto guy. I always seen a lot of similarities between our medieval cities (padova, verona, vicenza.. and your medieval brabant style flemish cities. I think our ''weltanschaung'' is pretty similar, as we were both trading hubs trading also between each other. we are regarded of ''backwardness'' aswell and we definitely are very uninformed! because we work all day your french are our italians
