Croats are one of the purest Catholic countries considering population, I think only Poland is there with us.

My opinion based on some numbers on most Catholic:

1)Poland, Croatia, Malta
2)Lithuania, Ireland, Portugal, Liechtenstein,

Poles are more religious than Croats on average. Most Croats are Catholic on paper, but ofcourse many people are still truly religious.

Just not in the same amount as Poles are, especially not young. Croatia is very westernized.

I used only percentage of self identifying Catholics.

There are all sorts of Catholics:

Cultural Catholics (not really believers) but follow some Catholic stuff.
Cafeteria Catholics (who ignore most teachings or dont go to church)
Practicing Catholics

Varies groupings: trads, cons, moderates, liberals,
Even new groups like evangelical and charismatic are large even in Catholics.

Its a complex picture.

I wasn't talking about her specifically, just in general Croatians tend to apologize alot about this.. Meanwhile not so long ago in the Yugoslavian war the serbs came in front with chetnik flags, clothes, knife etc.. and still singing glory songs about them.

Ustaše are not our roots, what is there so complicated to understand, I don't understand. They were not the same thing as the Nazis in Germany, they didn't win an election, they ousted the Croatian government and introduced totalitarianism. If that is not enough, they were also traitors who proclaimed a random Savoy as a king and gave away most of our coast.

Yeah, well all that was necessary plus Fascist Italy also at some point lost that coastal land again to the Ustasa state. If they Ustasa state won Croatdom would have won (which is now clearly slowly dying a racial death with low birth rates and overall liberal democratic idiocy). If the Ustasa / Axis won, there would have been high Croat birth rates for decades and decades until now with an excellent racial Noric-Dinaric ideal, no large Croat diaspora (more migration of Croats back to Croatdom as well). Much more land overall and no cacogenic Serboslav-east-Med / yugoslav commie cancer for decades and decades instead (what sadly happened). The polar opposite of working against Croatdom for decades and decades. The Ustasa had a great visionary ideal, were pragmatic (giving land to Italy initially as a deal to get independence) and far from traitors to Croatdom. They would have created a far better State and Croatdom would have been much, much stronger overall.

I estimate 10 to even over 20 plus million Croats now in the NDH had they won and a State which essentially and foremost works for the race and the well-being overall of its European people. It would have been superb, that instead of commie serboslav totalitarianism - every day of the week. Yes, the Ustasa were the last hope of Croatdom miss EU.

The only thing I regret is losing that war. Oh and if Serbslav deaths were even remotely accurate - there would not be so many of them on Croat lands to this day sadly.

It was not a real country, it was a puppet state of Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. I think we could not be more satisfied with the borders we have today. Bosnia is beautiful, but no thanks.
