SANTO DOMINGO. The judges of the Second Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice yesterday converted into final the agreement signed between the Attorney General's Office and Odebrecht, in which the Brazilian company commits to contribute US $ 184 million to the Dominican State for bribes paid for the awarding of public works.

The court chaired by Miriam Germán Brito and composed of Alejandro Moscoso Segarra, Frank Soto, Esther Agelán Casasnovas and Hiroito Reyes made the decision by rejecting a cassation appeal filed by the ex-deputy Manuel Jiménez, who sought to have that agreement nullified
