She may not look French bust she is half I guess if she is mixed race or more then half even. She has French ancestors, she can protrait her ancestors. Also its every year a new one and its ok if its one year a mixed race girl.

Hmm... I'm going to side with the OP on this one. They should've cast a White French girl for this role, on the otherhand, they should also not cast Whites as ancient Egyptians.
