    Keep in mind this menu is from the 1930s or 1940s when Anglos in CA were just getting used to Mexican food. You wouldn't see something like this by the 1950s . It's very old school.

    Surprises me that Anglos in CA used to be familiar with Mexican food as late as 1930s.
