    For now it's still unknown which haplogroups among modern Bulgarians are from proto-Bulgarians and Cumans.

    Are you talking about autosomally or chromosomally?

    The answer to the first one is Paleo-Balkanic. Their Y-DNA is also probably Paleo-Balkanic but I'm not 100% sure on that. The only Turkic thing about them right now their name so that shouldn't be an option.

    Paleo-Balkanic. They plot closest to Romanians and Macedonians. Phenotypically, again they are closest to Romanians and Macedonians.

    Depends what you consider 'paleo-Balkanic' and what you consider 'Turkic'. I would go with Slavic anyway.
