Autosomally Bulgarians are the closest to Romanians and Macedonians.
Second Bulgarian empire was known as Vlach-Bulgarian empire, because in medieval Bulgaria there was a lot of Vlachs and Asen dynasty was of Vlach origin.
Some historians claims that Vlachs migrated from Bulgaria to present day Romania in the late middle age. That may be example wy Bulgarians and Romanians are genetically close.

Probably most Paleobalkan.
Turkic influence definitely exists however, as Cuman-like Bulgars were the main force behind the Bulgarian empires and they weren't as small numbered as some claim them to have been.
They were numerous enough to crush a Byzantine empire in a golden age.

Thracian > Slavic > Turkic
First two are huge and almost even, third minimal and insignificant.
