In Dalmatia there aren't many, likely few in Zadar but I didn't hear for them personaly, their number only symbolic. PS island of Lošinj/Lussino part of north Adriatic (Kvarner) region, it isn't Dalmatia. There are still some Italians there I think.

City where I'm from has Italian kindergarden, elementary school and Gymnasium and lessons are in Italian. Not only Italians go there, but some Croats and other ethnicities too, because they get lot of scholarships from Italian government for studying in Italy.

We also have Italian cultural center, and things like that. Most people can understand Italian too.
