    Default Windows 10 Reboot Problem

So I started using another laptop that my husband hadn't touched for almost a year after buying it. It took forever to update fully. Now, I can't even log on because it just reboots. I tried the whole, "Press it three times and it goes to a fixit screen" thing, but it doesn't work. Go figure.

I can't start safe mode because the geniuses at Microsoft decided to disable it.

I'm just so mad right now. Luckily, I saved most of my pictures on a flashdrive, as well as the book I'm writing. But the updates to the chapters are now gone, which means I have lost three hours of work because of this nonsense.

Good job, Microsoft. How I hate you.

If I had the money, I would buy a mac. I have tried Linux, but it isn't user friendly enough for me. I'm not a computer wiz.

I totally agree with your personal thoughts about Microsoft products, the latest version sucks.. you might remember those days when Windows 7 had an available embedded function to get a free Windows 10 upgrade, you couldn't even turn off that annoying notification constantly you spent your time behind the computer monitor.. I tend to use both Windows 7 & a reliable Linux distribution
the best solution is, uninstall Windows 10 and install Windows 7

So either corrupted os or a hardware issue. Pull the hard drive, load it in another box or a external drive and pull the data you need.

I've been using PC's since win 2.0. I've had the odd hard drive die in that time but rarely has the OS been the issue. And usually that was causing by corrupted data from faulty hardware.
Windows is a great OS. Users on the other hand, tend to be quite faulty.

    Win 10 is fine.

Im still gunning with Windows 7 after all this time(Which I haven`t paid for of course)

Im currently in the process of building a new configuration because my old motherboard does not support Ryzen, and I will probably get Windows 10 to test it out(Still will not pay for it)
