LOL the idea that Yugoslavia would be a threat to Russia or the US. Wasn't it US president Woodrow Wilson the one who supported the creation and recognition of this state and even disallowed Italians to annex part of Dalmatia the Anglo-French had promised them?

So called Non-Aligned Movement was strong back then, now it is different political situation. There are no "non-aligned" countries anymore. Maybe North Korea.

I don't buy that. It was home grown nationalism that destroyed Yugoslavia. It was a bad idea to create such an artificial state. Switzerland and Austria are small too and they are doing very well.

Home grown nationalism helped from outside. Everything depends on politicians if they want war they can create it and opposite, otherwise those who would took guns in normal countries where politicians don't want war would finish in prison.

Switzerland is confederation and has 4 official languages and not to mention it is A SWITZERLAND and Austria are Germans.

If so, I don't understand why he perceives stubbornness to be a weakness- too many people are push-overs nowadays.
