Jealousy, just think about it. Ever heard of an ''ancient Germany'' ,or an ''Ancient Scandinavia''? The mere reference to such a thing provokes laughter more than anything else. Like, when people say ''German history'' what first comes to mind is concentration camps and people wearing the nazi uniform.

From an ethical perspective, neither Nazis wanting more living space for their kin nor Greco-Romans wanting more provinces for their imperial masturbation were right. Both Romans and Greeks committed atrocities where they occupied just like Nazis. Tbh, in modern world, ancient philosophers don't matter. Italy and Greece might be the birthplace of western civilization, but nowadays Germanics are the most advanced Euros, and they contributed a lot to human development, people that care too much about the past should live in a museum.

That is a false statement. They are fond of ancient Mediterranean civilizations such as Rome and Greece. Nazis were inspired by the Roman Empire! But according to them ancient Romans and Greeks were racially Aryan. Modern Italians and Greeks are non-white due to intermixing with lesser races, hence the fall of the Roman Empire. They use a similar rationale to justify the fall of Portugal and Spain as global powers. So, basically, Southern Europeans are too mixed to be considered white. In the United States, Canada, Australia a lot of "regular" people won't consider them white either but something else.

in my opinion more the places in Central Europe, economically speaking the European economic avant-garde seems to me more Alpine than Nordic or Mediterranean, even culturally there is the right compromise between a totally and extremely libertarian West (Sweden or Norway style) and a very more conservative (style Greece, Spain and Southern Italy)
