Elizabeth I became the Queen Regnant of England in 1558.
She received offers of marriage from many gentlemen.
Archduke Charles of Austria was a suitor for the hand of Queen Elizabeth. He was the son of Ferdinand I, Holy Roman Emperor and Anna of Bohemia and Hungary. His suit remained a possibility for several years.

I'm glad she didn't marry and have children. The whole line was terrible, except for Henry VII, funny enough.
