Is Magnus and the other guy the white side? If so, the illegal move is moving your opponent's piece (Magnus's teammate moved the black piece). Might have been a playful way to forfeit? Looks like they were laughing afterwards. I will have to watch again.

Nothing bro, the younger guys were 'white' and the older guys were 'black'. Since the younger dude moved the opposite team's pawn, he lost the game. You're not supposed to move the other team's pawn. The guy was under a lot pressure and made that illegal move but he was penalized for it regardless and ended up losing the game to the other team.
