He does indeed look Niko Bellicoid which probably means their could be a very distant origin between the Irish and some Balkanians (Croat-Serbs mainly), I say this because I've seen some Balkanians in turn who have traits that could of been similar.

eastern europeans and irish look different sometimes theres a small resemblance but not enough to look alike thats cos of the climate similiar probably or simply cos we are europeans

I do sometimes see slight similarities between some Irish people and people from that side of Europe.

But I suppose you can find similarities throughout Europe if you look hard enough.
