By the way, I'm dying to see Achaemenid Persian results. Also, why can't they test Al-Bukhari who was a prominent Islamic scholar and hadith author? He was born in what is now Uzbekistan and his grandfather was a Zoroastrian farmer or something like that. There is his tomb in Samarkand.

Most likely out of religious reasons, although I completely agree. Al-Bukhari would most be likely Tajik shifted. They also found some salt mummies in Northern Iran, one from the Parthian period, the other from the Sassanian period and the rest from Achaemenid period.

Isn't the 0.62 Sub-Saharan African in the result of someone from the remote Baltic island Gotland evidence that Gedmatch isn't that accurate? What is it picking up, there? How on earth would Sub-Saharan people get there?
