    Default Central Asians are swarthy

I read often claims in here how Anatolian Turks suposedly aren't turkic, because they are ''dark'' while central asians were suposedly fair.

What a propaganda! I watched TV documentary about Uzbeks today, and I was suprised how dark pigmented (including skin that's very tanned) they were. I think Turkey is even lighter.

where does ''blond mongol'' fantasies about central asians come from ?

The Albanians, these tigers of mountain wars ... have as their religion rebellion. Even their worst warrior is one of the strongest and bravest on the battle-field, just as if he was a knight on the legendary horse. But he has no horse, nor proper weapons for battle. Instead of the horse, he has a lance which strikes as lightning, he has spears who's points are full of posion as the sting of hornets, he has also a wooden bow with some arrows. Furthermore, he is stronger than iron ...

We aren't Central Asians originally but Siberian. Altai chains and north of it around river Lena. Uzbekistan was home to Sogdians etc which were Iranic farmers.
Mongols slaughtered Iranic farmers and town population while Turkic Karluks (who moved own nomad population to safer places from Mongol's bloody path) became majority, that's how Uzbekistan came to be.

Göktürks rose in Altai mountains in 540's overthrowing Rurans.
Göktürks -> split East Göktürks and West Göktürks
West Göktürks (living mostly what's today Kazakhstan) became Turgish through time.
Turgish became Oğuz (moving more west, region between Aral and Caspian).
Seljuk and following Ottoman dynasties were both Oğuz.

    Interesting.

Regarding Uzbeks, people I saw on TV (rural families) were strongly mongoloid admixed, they look like mixture of Iranics and Turko-mongols. Even possible minor Indian element.
Almost everyone had black hair/very dark brown eyes and men were very tanned, women were paler.

Central Asia is mix of ethnicities, but Turkish ancestry is not from Uzbekistan, original Oghuz Turk homeland is in Northwest Kazakhstan.

Uzbeks and Uyghurs are Karluk Turks. They were described looking Tibetian, they're more southern shifted.

I know that, but point of this thread is how misconception that Turks aren't turkic because of pred. darker pigmentation is totally false, because Anatolian Turks have more depigmented individuals than most central asian Turks.

No modern Central Asian can be taken as a proxy for original Oghuz Turcomans migrated in Anatolia, and modern Turks mixed with natives, those who were in the east mixed with darker types and became swarthy, those in western and northern parts mixed with whiter. DNA tells it all, Turks score significant East Asian.

Turks are Siberian they still drink fermented horse milk and throat sing into the night to mighty tengri while eating meat raw. Turks are 100% Turkic and related to Finno-Ugrics and Turkic peoples of Russia this is seen because they look the same in fact whole world is Turk.
