What needs to be understood is that Central Asia was ethnically very mixed since prehistory, and there is no consensus on what original Turks looked like. All modern Turks have very diverse genetics and Y-DNA. What could be said is that those who were in the north were more northern-shifted, those in south were southern-shifted. "Blonde mongoloids" is not entirely false. Oghurics, Oghuz and Kipchaks had genetic affinity with Steppe people and were more northern shifted than Anatolians, had higher Baltic and North Atlantic.

Turks in Russia are certanly much fairer than those in central asia, but I think it comes from Finnic source.

Anthropologists sugested that Volga Tatars (who are quite fair) were language shifters from Finnic to Turkic for example.

No way. Koreans who aren't bleached like the ones in the north are darker skinned than any Europeans. They have yellowish skin and almost 100% black hair/very dark brown eyes.

I go to a college with both Southern Euros (Italians) and Koreans/Hans. I see lighter Koreans and Hans than Italians here all the time.

She's easily lighter than most Southern Euros.

These aren't my words. They have Turkic admix, but many sugest their base is Finnic. Since they cluster close to Finno-Ugrics like Mari, Udmurt and have lot of N1c haplotypes, I don't think it's unfounded in facts.

They're confused. Pontic Steppes were Turkic for quite a while. Finno-Ugrics were originaly Mongoloid like Turks, they have expanded through Eastern Europe and mixed with fair Hunter Gatherers in an early age.

Yes, East Asian Mongoloids largely encompassing Koreans and Japanese are far paler and lighter than southern Europeans. Deal with it.

why ? I'm just curious about this interesting region. I even write how Anatolian Turks have considerable turkic admix.

point of this thread is how turkic/mongoloid admixture won't make you lighter, quite the contrary.
