    Default Should Israel Charge It's Arab (Non-Druze) Citizens An Extra Tax Similar To The Sharia Jizya?

    Under Islamic law Jews & Christians were forced to pay an extra tax called the Jizya. The justification for this is that they, unlike Muslims, are absolved from certain civic responsibilities especially military service. Since Israel Arabs (except Druze) aren't made to serve in the Israeli army should Israel adopt this Muslim approach & charge it's Arab citizens a Jizya tax of say an extra 5%?
