    Yes Poland was okay by pre-WWII comparative standards and had a sizable bourgeois class (and of course inequality which was a norm at the time, most of my family were extremely poor but some were doing okay). I thought Argentina would be higher as it was among the top 10 rich economies in the early 20th century.
    Edit: I also thought pre-communist China would be higher.
